Good news for our Book Club

In May our Book Club will be reading Linda J White's first book, Bloody Point.  Some of the good news is that Linda, herself, will be joining us!  Other good news is that our FOSL store will have these signed books for sale for $5.  Please stop by the FOSL store and purchase a signed copy of Bloody Point

If you would like to meet Linda, please come to our May Book Club meeting held at Smoot Library at 6pm on May 27th.

Wonderful Events

Thanks to all who came to the Chili Dinner.   It was a success.  Many wonderful comments on the King George Middle School Jazz Band!

Our time at the Home Show this weekend was also productive.  Thanks to those who helped out with these two major events in the same weekend!

The February Book Club meeting also went well.  We are still deciding on our next book, if you have suggestions, please email your thoughts.

Looking ahead

Our FOSL Book Club for January went well.  Those that were able to make it in the snow really enjoyed the discussion.

February's Book Club meeting will be February 25th at 6pm.  We have chosen to read Julia Spencer-Fleming's book In the Bleak Midwinter for the February meeting.

We are starting to plan our Chili Dinner.  If you are interested in contributing something for the dinner (ex. chili, cornbread, desserts, money, etc.) please email Kathy at kgfosl@gmail.com or call her at 540-273-1416.  More details will be posted soon.
